After several years in different parts of England and a 
three-year posting in Germany  we enjoyed this tour, 
    even though it was before much of the tourist development.      

Our serious boating started in Singapore in 1962. 
We have enjoyed the South China Sea, a good stretch of the 
River Thames on returning to England and, later, the Arabian Gulf.
